The Quirks of Quirky Heartmade. ..
Quirky Heartmade was my first taste at putting my creative expressions out into the universe and I LOVED it. I loved sharing. I loved creating my own brand and figuring out all the puzzles that come with being an entrepreneur. I loved the learning process, but it had its quirks.
Being new to it all, I didn't quite know what to name it. Let me just say that I was cycling through various popular styles as part of my graphic design training, so I really wasn't considering what I wanted my purpose to be in my creations. I just thought "Hey! How about something cute? Kawaii is popular. " Coming from that perspective led to a lot of burnout, so I really wanted to zero in on something personal and on goal that had real purpose. That led to my current project which infuses fashion and nature.
Anyhow while I was redesigning I thought about the quirks that came from Quirky Heartmade. Wow! That pun was unintentional. The main being that it wasn't memorable, easy to pronounce, or easily written (or at least in my opinion). A lot better than "A Splash of Creative (the first name I contemplated)" which sounded more like a big wig corporation in my mind than something that encompasses my free spirit. :)
So I went with my natural muse and chose Amused Style with various branding including hints of nature.
