Nature pics...one of many muses
Since nature is one of my many muses I decided to upload a couple pictures I've taken throughout the beginning of fall to perhaps inspire others.
As summer was dying down, I went to the park with a very dear friend. It was a day full of fun pictures. This was my top favorite, because the flowers reminded me of my grandmother's favorite. To me it was the most amazing picture- the way the bright purple flowers looked upon the rich, brown stump surrounded by the green leaves and shrubs. The sun was hitting it at the perfect angle, too.
I always imagined myself living in a cottage someday so this kind of beauty of the perfect nature shot always makes me smile.
Even the end of fall seems fast approaching….
I saw this while out on one of my walks somewhere and felt like I needed to take a picture of it, because it was so cool. I really liked the impressions the leaves made on the ground. With the single leaf laying on top. I just thought it was really interesting.
Of course that picture is perfectly followed by this one. It was a couple weeks before Halloween and I was out on a night walk. I had seen a black cat creeping along side me in the shadows of the trees and I was looking around at all the trees and there was an eerie feeling in the air. It was definitely feeling like the Halloween spirit. There was even an eerie glow to everything that I don't normally see even at night.
The leaves were looking like something out of a Halloween movie. They had an almost old sepia look to them. Kinda resemble witch's hands or monster claws.
Walking back to my house, I saw this really pretty tree. I had to get a shot of it. Wasn't sure whether I was allowed to photograph the houses but the main focus was that huge, beautiful tree.
Whenever these clouds come it's a reminder that the winter storms of Northeast Ohio are coming, but it's still a lovely view. Not too far away from those blustery days now.

This picture, although a little blurry, is another one of my favorites. The leaves seemed to almost twinkle in the water and the tree reminded of one people carve their names into or even an owl or bird or other furry creature would be peaking their head out of. It was just a really quaint and cute little moment that I had to take a picture of, even with the stormy winds and dart-like rain drops.
we had spotted this heron (i think that's what it's called)(near the shoreline)… and I had never seen one so close up before. Needless to say, I was terrified of it especially when I realized how big it was. Almost as tall as me…(maybe a little over dramatic but it definitely comes up to about my waist or more) It was both beautiful and mind boggling watching it move so fast and then that wingspan.
Hard to follow that up, but I'll try. There were these beautiful flowers as we walked along the shoreline and into the woods.
That was a really peaceful and wonderful day. Really got me refocused and re-energized for the rest of my days. Just maybe not on the things I was hoping. It made me want to spend more days outside and enjoy nature, again.
As fall ramped, up there were more and more beautiful pictures of leaves and foliage and trees that I couldn't help but want to document the beauty of what I was seeing.
There was something really simple and interesting about this. It seemed so unusually placed (side of a main road) but it had a certain kind of energy to it that was really powerful and majestic in a way.
I love the bright reds that come with fall leaves.
It makes me happy to see such a radiant color.
