Daily Inspiration Mixed Media

Looking through my supplies for inspiration and ideas for my next Halloween mixed media project and I came across this quirky combination. It morphs cute and quirky and spooky all in one! A little bad to the bone with the skulls don't you think? 
I have been loving the color pink lately and as always I have a love interest in bright colors! I bought the tape recently at a nearby print shop because it is just so multifunctional. The one with quotes on the left is so inspirational and fun. I felt like it added the perfect punch for Halloween with the oranges and greens and the black backgrounds of each make them complementary, especially since the inspirational one has a bit of a punch-y vibe to it with those throwback colors. Can't wait to show you what I make with it! :-D :-P
That will happen sometime this week! I even have another digital download coming up so stay tuned! It's kinda spooky and gory! I like cute scary but gory scary is so out of my comfort zone that it's interesting to create! Can't wait to show that either! Really fun!

Hey guys! I've been feeling really bad about my art lately so I woke up with an epiphany today. I'm going to try harder when it comes to creating my art because I feel I've just been skimming the top layer of my potential and not really digging in there. This is my passion and I honestly feel like it's my calling so I must try harder. I owe it to anyone who follows me for my art and to myself. From now on, I'm going to stop listening to the haters and naysayers and just give more better quality stuff, because I know I'm strongly creative and it wouldn't do a lick of sense to not try. The time I fangirled over Michael

I've been in love with Michael Cera for many moons over quite literally but it wasn't until nick & Nora that I had an epic explosion of organic proportion over how gorgeous and good looking stunning of an actor he was  I actually started doing page layouts for a zine I wanted to do one year quite some time after the movie ACTUALLY PREMIERED..
