Fall: Mother Nature Bares it All
With the changing of the colors of the trees and the cool air it feels so beautiful out in Ohio! The leaves are so crunchy as they're blowing in the wind. I thought I might share some of the pictures I've taken of the trees around here and share some thoughts I had. This time of year feels so wondrous that I wanted to capture it to share with you all.

I love how some of the streets still have the old timey look to them. You can almost feel the history of the neighborhood, especially during this time of year. You look around and it's like traveling back in time almost. Back less than only 20 years ago when a lot of it was still farm land. The simpler times, before technology took over and rising costs eradicated a lot of farms. You can feel that all here just by walking down a street paved with familiar houses. You look at the nature and trees and it's like they remember it all. It wasn't too long for them. A lot of the houses were built before the farms were eradicated so you see the simpler style. In a nice little town where most people are friendly and try to get along with everyone. Filled with college students or closer to the back parts where it's families and people who have lived here many years. Granted so many people move, but it still feels like home. That comforting feeling that nature always puts you in.
I know it's kind of childish, but with the crunching of the leaves on the ground and the cool breeze blowing them around I couldn't help but want to ask, "Who wants to go play in the leaves with me?" Instead of just raking them. Who wants to go play in the crunchy leaves and play with them as we're putting them in bags shaped like turkeys.
I honestly feel kind of disheartened for those of you who don't have 4 seasons, but I might change my mind when that icy wind comes where people are trudging through ice up to your knees and practicing defensive driving. Oh...the joys of winter. It can wait. Right now, the decorative turkeys and fall leaves are so beautiful. It's so peaceful here. Why I call it home. No matter how old I get it's hard to actually want to leave this town. The older I get the more I want to stay.
P.S. I'm terrified of bridges so I did this for your viewing enjoyment. I thought it was a beautiful view before I of course, freaked out and thought I was going to fall. Haha! It was worth it, though. All for the awesome view. What inspired you most?
