Am I a Hippy?

Some days I get up and get dressed in a way that's super creative and makes me feel good. Like we all do. Those days always make me feel like I'm a hippy that got transported to the wrong decade.
I find it fascinating how my "happy" attire is always super colorful, full of flowery tops & bright hues. I bet my mom, the actual hippy (who mind you is always telling me to do a farrah fawcett look with my hair...no just no) loves to be reminded of those days characterized in my style.
When it comes to style, I always saw myself drawn to boho but in a resistant sort of way because it matched my dreamy spirit and revealed my love of color but it was always associated with hipsters. I don't see myself as a hipster or even necessarily hippy as much as I do a free spirited artist. What are the origins of the word hipster? Since they sound the same I always assume hipster is a new age hippy. And hipsters think they're cool. I'm definitely not that. I'm the oddball usually.

At any rate, here's a couple "hippy" looking outfits. Not to mention check out this new haircut with the Charlie Harper looking blouse. Seeing my hippy reference?
*Tbh wanted to show off my new haircut.
