My Goals for Amused Style: Holistic & Giving Back
I am working on a new brand of accessories. If you're a lover of nature or a hippy at heart you might relate to this blog post. *Opening photo: cute & fluffy*

The goals of my next project are based on causes near to my heart. If you have been following my blog or Instagram you will see I love taking photos of nature (included nature posts on my blog a while back). I love being a vegetarian and nature is my guide when everything in this world seems topsy turvy ( instagram: instagram.com/amusedstyle). Like this weekend when I took a walk in the park, zoned out and watched the bees buzzing around and the waves crashing against the sand. It was so peaceful. Nature is the best medicine for everyday relaxation. It has countless benefits like heightened intuition, creativity and clearer thinking. For me, It brings me a certain sense of balance and peace, so the creative accessory line will be dedicated to holistic causes and the people who are as moved by it as I am. I feel like my style is slightly different than most "Bohemian" fashion and natural art styles because I still love to put a quirky spin on things.
Most importantly, I love sewing things by hand and it grounds me and brings a lot of the same spiritual perks as meditation. With all the negativity in the world and my belief in giving back as just a genuine urge I want to involve local charities.
The creative accessory and handbag collection is something I've been working on for the last couple months. They will be infused with my colorful style & cutesy designs, because nothing melts hearts like cute and fluffy but I want to include things that you can share as gifts (which means illustration won't be a heavy influence). I will include Spreadshirt (temporarily).
I want to give a little back story on what made me come to this concept. I started learning how to sew when I was a kid and got my first sewing machine at 13. As part of my creative passion I would draw various outfits, because fashion is a wonderful form of expression. When I was working on my Spreadshirt collection I was getting highly irritated, because I felt like I was too dependent on the computer and felt like I should be creating from more than that. I wanted to handsew clothes but I realized would take a little bit of time and resources, so I set out sketching my ideas using different genres of popular ideas and again got frustrated because there's more to it than that. I have a passion for nature and holistic practices, so it had to be my translation of what nature means. Animals and fantasy creatures, protecting the environment and listening to your gut instincts. Being a part of a bigger picture while emphasizing your own natural talents.
Handbags are so pivotal in toting your essentials, whether you are creative or need stuff to keep you aligned and upbeat when you're on-the-go. It can serve many purposes, so those are my priorities.
Still to come... the causes I plan on incorporating. In the future, I plan on doing fun lifestyle videos and continuing my nature posts.
Sorry if this was all over the place or redundant for people who have read my previous unedited blog. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, unfortunately. Never considered myself so type A with the creative monsters that like to creep up. :)
