I loved this performance for all of its elements. I thought the show in its entirety was really thought provoking and had a lot of rhythm. I love the pairing of instrumental music with Shakira but it could have I wanted the dance to be more her-ish and  provocative. breathtaking sinign

As you might know it's been a rough last 4 years for me. I've been molested, found out my mom was dying and oh yeah... Lost my mind to a special gift called schizophrenia. I can't be downed anymore than I am. Oh yeah and almost shot at. And how did this all occur?... Well flash back 4 years to a simpler time where I was intellectually on my game & designing my own handbags. I was starting a fashion line, I was raging in YouTube videos and had just graduated college. I felt thrilled about the prospects even though I knew and frantically went about my way with my mom having undergone multiple surgeries for an aneurysm and cirrhosis of the liver. While my mom was sick I dated a guy I met in middle school. Not realizing HOW UNHEALTHY the relationship was with him constantly making me miserable and him making me out to be bad for simply living like a little kid that loved art and wanted to celebrate every day. I love working on art but this particular piece was created after a Oracle card session. I just realized a lot of things that came into play of my experience as an artist were all created by the initial experience I had as a child.  I was about 5 years old when my lungs collapsed from pneumonia and I remember the machines flat lining and staring at the ceiling when I started gradually moving out of my body and hearing a voice say create and time works differently here. Then they shocked me with the paddles and I looked down at my body and moved closer to my body until I was back in it. From then forward I felt different. I always felt like an old soul but something about that made me feel wiser. I remember my 7th birthday staring at the cake and looking up at my mom and feeling like I was reliving this life. This particular piece was reminds me that a lot of my inner self energy comes through when I'm in nature.

My creative process has changed a lot in the recent months, so I feel like there's a TON to catch you up on. My basis of this rebranding was to create functional creative objects. As you know I started working on a creative product line that I am PROUD to tell you is a handmade accessory line from handbags to jewelry (scroll down for pictures)!!!!! I will ALSO be designing t-shirts. I want to donate a certain amount of funds/proceeds to charity, because I feel it is important to give back. I still need to research that. I'll walk you through my thought process if you're interested. Are You Amused? First off, I plan on changing my business name from Quirky Heartmade to Amused Style. Big change, I know. What do you think? Think it's easier to remember and type out? That has been weighing on my shoulders for like 3 years- ever since I went with Quirky Heartmade.
