Morning Walk Inspiration Posts

Image
I hadn't done this type of post in a while but I love trees and nature, so here's some cool things I saw on my morning walk Christmas Eve morning. Something so introspective and artsy and cool about taking pictures of your shadow. Just some pretty cool dying flowers near my house. I thought they looked so pretty even though you can't see the one on the right perfectly. Sorry there isn't a better picture. The sun was also glaring in my eyes like it is on the flower. This tree was so cool, because how the leafs are it almost reminds me of one of the mobiles that hangs over a baby's bassinet. Like you should almost be able to spin the top of the trees to get the leafs to sway in a circular fashion. Somebody looking for the evergreens? I think I found some. That concludes my morning stroll. Leave a comment saying "nature is awesome" if you want me to do more of these types of inspirational posts!

DRAWING ON MY FACE *body art*

Thoughts behind my latest video: "Drawing on my Face" *body art* I wanted to make videos on my YT channel that are representative of my quirkiness and my love of creating things. I was thinking back to a photo, I shared with a friend, of when I doodled on my face with a pen last Spring. Since I can't find it now I'll describe it as "Lots of little dots and crazy lines." You would think I did it out of boredom, but no I had a million things to do. I just love creating and thought it might be fun to draw something on myself. I'd be lying if I said

Hope everyone had happy holidays and more joy to come!

Baking Cookies w Mrs Claus

Wow! I learned a lot while making cookies. Did you know that mayo can be used as a sub for eggs in your recipes? I read that some people have even tried it in their cookies, which is just too strange for me to wrap my mind around. My quirky escape!!!

I've been working on a lot of artsy videos lately. I have a new style of videos I'm working on. They're very artsy, but I wanted to put my own unique spin and mash art with videos. It's like my way of showing you how I see the world... I thought it would be something fun. I just feel like I have a very quirky personality and it's kind of cool to explore that through videos. I was just talking about this and I don't have any vices like many people have their drinking or smoking but I love to make art as my expression of my feelings or as whatever occurs to me. I guess it's more productive, you could say, but it's like escaping to another world. It's just like I get to immerse myself in my thoughts and at the same time escape my thoughts. I'm really random so I love showing that in videos because as much as I love writing it doesn't show my personality as well. I don't know. I'm OBSESSED with art and making videos. Coming up with new

Latest Etsy Shop Creations...

I saw other people blog their art and realized...Well duh, my blog is called Quirky Heartmade for a reason. I should put up some of my recent Etsy shop posts. My Etsy Shop: quirkyheartmade.etsy.com This painting is my own personal take on the grunge style . I have always been fascinated by the texture of brick walls and the bumpy appearance and the way the paint on the bricks can sometimes appear "sloppy", which is why I painted very loose and roughly. I went over the purple paint with gold, metallic marker. It is framed without glass because I find it really interesting to have it bare, to show the raw textures . I imagined it hanging on a plain, one color wall so that it appears like there is a patch of brick wall showing through. I thoroughly coated the artwork in protective, glossy sealer. I know a lot of people have their thoughts about no glass, but there are many canvases that work similarly. Canvases aren't always framed.  This painting is called "Ra
