I went for a walk in the park to take a break from making art and thought it was so peaceful I would share it with you guys. Then Twitter reminded me it's #wanderlustwednesday so I knew I had to post it. How many of you are getting ready for St. Patrick's Day tomorrow? I know I am, especially celebrating a family member's birthday that day. This tree is so gnarly. Cool! :) What about that corkscrew tree root? Just another twinkling tree. I love when trees are barren but have those scattered leaves at the top. So cute   Ok.This tree was my all time favorite because it kind of  looks like a giant caterpillar or anteater. All those limbs sticking out like legs. Gross but also cool! Haha! This was random of me. I was standing in front of a nearby waterfall. Thought it was cute. I suck at taking videos but I thought I would show you around my favorite place in the park.

Taking pictures as I was walking home earlier. It was raining so my camera on my phone didn't want to cooperate but I got some fun ones. I always feel like a crazy person taking pictures for my blog but it speaks to my soul(not helping me here, Katie.) and I honestly love taking pictures.   I included this first image on my IG(@quirkyheartmade). Side note: My Instagram could definitely use some serious work but I love bright, happy colors and creating and all of my creative passions together start to look :P ...overwhelming. :-D I loved the colors of the street lamp bouncing off my face to create that lovely side halo. Isn't it interesting? I was not happy with the rain, as you can tell. Rain..rain...go away, but don't because you make more fun pictures to take. :D That's such a beautiful texture and the bleariness of the rain and all the streetlamps bouncing off of everything creating fun glow-y effects. I love this NEW FRAME PAINTING I did. I just thought the product photography was kind of funny to do. Face forward. Now profile. Now turn towards me again. Okay...seriously.  I love bright colors as you know by now. This abstract flower frame painting was nothing but fun to do. I used metallic golds as a background for the abstract flowers, which are made up of neon pink, purple & yellow. I used a chair for the background to show how the opacity of the glass pane gives a fun effect for wherever you choose to place it in your home. In honor of leap day, I thought I would write a post about time capsules and what I think I would put in one to commemorate this period of my life. Kind of like tattoos if I wasn't a big baby about pain. Lol. I always thought time capsules were a pretty neat idea as a kid. What describes you in the current moment. Hmm...I had to think long and hard about this one to truly understand what makes me tick lately. What would you say describes you at the moment? Leave a comment below this post. I would love to know. We all are similar and yet different so it's interesting. Don't you think?   We evolve so much and yet in a way there are core values that stick with us.  As a kid I would've said art stuff,  90s rock music (Muse, Coldplay, etc.), etc. Now I think it is more along the lines of earmuffs (haha..I'll explain later), my phone, and my camera.
